CHITRAL: Chairman Standing Committee on Kashmir Affairs, former Federal Minister for Tourism and MNA Shahzada Muhayuddin attended a historic marriage ceremony organized by royal family of Chitral.
The daughter of Shahzada Mir Hasanatuddin son of prince Burkhanuddin the then ruler of Chitral state was married to Bilal Khan Khattak son of Sher Aslam Khan Khattak of Mardan district Takhtbhai.
Some 20 acre of lands, two commercial plots and 360 grams of gold were gifted to bride. Bilal Khan Khattak is grandson of Aslam Khan Khattak former governor NWFP and nephew of Parvez Khattak former provincial minister.
The bride is a member of royal family of Chitral and is also niece to Prince Muhayuddin Chairman Standing Committee Kashmir Affairs (MNA from Chitral). The wedding ceremony was also attended by Member Provincial Assembly Shahzada Sikandarul, Tehsil Nazim Mastuj Haji Ghulam Muhammad, District Coordination Officer Chitral Mutasim Billah Shah, District Police Officer Muhammad Saleem Marwat, Commandant Chitral Scouts Col Suhail Iqbal, Executive District Officer Health Dr. Sher Qayum and a large number of people of belonging to all walks of
life at Dulomoch Fort of Royal Family.
Sher Aslam Khan Khattak is a veteran politician and prominent social worker of Takhtbhai Mardan district. A musical concert was also held at later hours of night.
