Family coronates Fateh as Mehtar
Chitral -- Though largely symbolic, the family showed respect for the house of the late Mehtar of Chitral HH Saiful Mulk Nasir, by promptly coronating his elder son prince Fateh Ul Mulk Ali Nasir as the new Mehtar, in a simple but graceful ceremony at the royal fort. "Born on 27th November 1983 , educated LLB from University of Buckingham UK and LLM from University of Miami USA, His Highness Fateh ul Mulk Ali Nasir was crowned as the Mehtar of Chitral in graceful ceremony held at Chitral Fort today", says a handout by of the fort.
MNA Shahzada Muhiuddin, Raja of Yasin Raja Jallaluddin, Nawab of Amb Nawab Sallahuddin, Pir Sahib of Goldur, Imam of Shahi Masjid Qari Shabir Ahmed, President Aga Khan regional Council for lower Chitral Dr. Mir Afzal Tajik , and many other dignitaries who represented different tribes and regions were presente on this occasion . At the end hundreds of Chitralis seconded the decision by offering tradition of Baiyat to the new Mehtar by kissing his hand.
